Sophie is the sweetest girl around.  She is very shy around new people and we’re working on that. After some time with her she’ll loosen up a bit. Once she trusts she is loving and will take treats. She is also very conscious of other large dogs and relaxed most when there are none near her. Sophie has made friends with several small dogs at the shelter though. She is gentle and even tempered. She spent and afternoon with her walkers at the river and she loved to play in the water. She would be good with adults and older/considerate children. A fenced yard for her to romp around in would be great as she likes the outdoors. Patience will be key for her new humans as she learns to trust and feel safe with them.
