Missy is a lovely young hound. She loves her walks and does well on leash. She is even-tempered and quite gentle. She is also affectionate, enjoying pats, hugs, and conversation. She is good with other dogs and wants to romp in the field with horses (we learned this when we took her to the horse show at the 4 -H camp). She seems to ignore cats. Missy would love an active family who maybe has a big yard for her to explore. She has been pretty quiet at the shelter, but her excitement at the horse show brought out that hound bay. She wanted to be out and about with all the activity and many people came to see her in response.
