Lee Avenue Extension Elkins WV 26241 9th Annual Spayghetti DinnerMark your calendars for the 9th annual RCHS Spay-ghetti Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 4-7pm! This famous meal prepared by St. Patrick's Ladies Guild of Coalton will be available while supplies last, so get your tickets early! Your meal will include spaghetti with marinara or with meatballs, garden salad, Italian bread, dessert, and a beverage, for eat-in or take-out. We'll have RCHS merchandise for sale, a 50/50 raffle, pet parade, and off-site adoption event. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance from RCHS or at Freedom Bank, The Delmonte Market, Triangle Heating & Cooling, S&T Bees, and Fancy Paws. Proceeds support the RCHS spay/neuter efforts. Come have dinner with us and then head to ArtsBank!

Each shirt is listed in the "Discussion" tab as an individual comment with its item number, name, and size. These are one-of-a-kind items (so no, we don't have "that one" in a different size!). Post your bid as a reply on the item you're interested in. Minimum bid on kids' sizes is $10, adult sizes minimum bid is $15, and 3xl minimum is $18. Remember, it's a fundraiser, not a yard sale, so you're helping us help the animals! Bids close on Sunday, July 19 at 5 pm. No late bids will be accepted. Private bids may be made by sending a private message to us with the item number/name. No bids will be accepted by phone. Let the bidding begin! We love that idea! You can join the movement by donating to RCHS. Make your donation of $17 to honor the date, $100 to honor Betty's 100th birthday, or even $5! No gift is too small! On April 9, from 4pm-7pm, at Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, we will have take-out only of the St. Patrick's Guild of Coalton's famous spaghetti and meatballs! Tickets are $12 per adult and $6 per child under 12 and can be purchased online. Soon, tickets also will be available at the RCHS shelter and local sites, which will be announced on our Facebook page. All proceeds support our spay/neuter efforts. Click here for more information Giving Tuesday 2022 Tuesday November 22nd, 2022 1:00 AM until Saturday December 31st, 2022 11:59 PM Location: Virtual Event 26241 Giving Tuesday: Raise the Woof!As you consider your Giving Tuesday support for non-profits that matter to you, please consider RCHS! We have a couple of major projects in the works right now, some of which are being done by volunteers, and some that need additional support to get them across the finish line. For example, we are replacing doors on our dog building that have seen better days. The new doors will serve us well long into the future, keeping exits secure and achieving more energy efficiency. But of course, they have to be custom made and you can imagine how much costs have risen recently. You may have seen the demolition project of the old ISO section of our cat building. We’re SO grateful to the volunteers doing this work! We weren’t, however, able to get a large dumpster donated, so we need to cover that cost and some other infrastructure support for that project. We are hoping to raise $10,000 for Giving Tuesday to help put us in good shape for years to come. But you don't have to wait for Tuesday to make a donation. We're set up to take donations now and we value any level of donation you can spare. Donations can be made online through this Giving Tuesday link, or you can mail a check to P.O. Box 785, Elkins WV 26241, or just stop by RCHS during business hours. Thank you for considering YOUR local shelter in your non-profit support for Giving Tuesday 2022!

12th Annual Spay-ghetti Dinner Saturday February 24th, 2024 4:00 PM until 07:00 PM Location: Phil Gainer Community Center (Old Armory) Map: 142 Robert E. Lee Avenue Extension Elkins WV 26241 RCHS 12th Annual Spay-ghetti DinnerJoin us for our annual Spay-ghetti Dinner to help prevent pet overpopulation! We're back at our familiar place and time, celebrating World Spay Day, serving the famous St. Patrick's Guild of Coalton's spaghetti with meatballs! We'll have our pet parade and off-site adoption event, merch sales, and all the things you've come to expect. And we might just throw in a few new things you won't want to miss, too, so get your tickets now so you don't miss out on your plate full, rain or shine! We expect to sell out now that we're back at our usual venue, so don't wait! Adult tickets are still $12, children under 10 are $6, and you get spaghetti with meatballs, salad, beverage and dessert. You'll be able to dine in or take out, and your pre-purchase helps us plan for you. Tickets will be available by Feb 2 at the shelter, Delmonte Market, local vets, and from RCHS Board members, and you can get them now online.
